Local Outreach
We take the gospel to the streets every week, going to housing projects, beaches, schools and parks.
Palos Verdes Health Care Center
We bring church to the elderly every Sunday, singing hymns and preaching God's word to the patients at Palos Verdes Health Care Center.
Church News
Fellowship Sunday 8/27/23
We will have a schedule change on Sunday, August 27th, 2023.We will have our11 AM worship service as usual, and immediately following we will have a fellowship lunch. OurLord's Supper servicewill be moved to 2 PM. There will be no 5 PM service this week to allow additional time to fellowship together.
Monthly Psalm Sing at FBC Lomita
On Friday, August 25th, 2023, at 7 PM, we will have our joint Psalm Sing and Fellowship Time at First Baptist Church of Lomita.
The Lord's Supper Sermon Series
On Wednesday nights, Pastor Rick will be preaching a sermon series about The Lord's Supper with assorted scriptures.
Friday Night Schedule Updates
We will be changing our Friday night schedule to:
1st and 3rd Fridays of the month at 6:00 PM - Bible Question & Answer Time
2nd and 4th Fridays of the month at 6:00 PM - Prayer Time
Doctrine Bible Study Series: Life After Death & Baptism
On Wednesday nights Pastor Rick will be teaching through a Bible study series on what the Bible says on the topics of Life After Death and Baptism.
Friday Psalm Sing and Fellowship Time
On Friday, February 24th, 2023, at 7 PM, we will have a joint Psalm Sing and Fellowship Time with Liberty Baptist Church - Norwalk.
Join us in the FBC Lomita sanctuary at 7 PM for a time of singing the Psalms and dessert fellowship to follow in Miller (fellowship) Hall .
